  • MOZ is currently blocked from crawling my sites because I use a bot sniffer. Does anyone know how I can properly identify the MOZ bot in order to whitelist it? MOZ is using Amazon web services and thus employs thousands of dynamic IPs to crawl.

  • I see that On-Page Grader reports include a numerical number such as the following: Keyword Usage for audio book gift certificates = 15 I improved this page (http://www.audiobooksonline.com/audio-book-audiobook-gift-certificates.html) from 3 to 15 today. What is the maximum "grade" possible?

  • Hi Everyone, I was just trying to export the On Page Grader report for my clients website, and found that there is no longer that option. Is this a permanent change with the new branding? Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks very much.

  • Does anyone know why the crawl diagnostics indicate duplicate page content regarding the blog we are hosting on WordPress?  And does anyone know how to fix this issue?  The content is not, or does not appear to be duplicate.

  • Hi 3 weeks ago I re-branded and completely changed the proposition on www.over50choices.co.uk as the URL is appropriate to the proposition. And whilst it looks good I am unsure what the Moz Tools are telling me, other than it doesnt look good? There should be about 163 pages, but Moz reports over 500 due to i think so many 301's? Plus most pages under the HTTP Status reports No Data! Most of the the 404's are from the old site. Webmaster Tools say 163 pages submitted but only 2 indexed, but on site:search it says about 117 but 40+ of these are the old site. It looks a mess...! Sleepless nights have started - any thoughts!? Thanks Ash

  • Would be nice to know, as I'm limited to 5 campaigns, and the most important work is done for 2 site's, so I would like to switch that to 2 other website's. Regards,

  • Hey MozCon attendees! Are you available to help the Moz Product Team? We're looking to get feedback on Moz Analytics from our users during MozCon! Take this quick 1-minute survey (it asks about your availability and the marketing tactics you use). We'll be eternally grateful... and we'll give you a gift to show our gratitude 🙂 Thanks!

I tried searching for any questions relating to this issue, but came up with nothing. I appreciate the assistance. Amiee

  • The crawl diagnostics .csv file is showing high-ascii characters instead of the correct language (foreign language website) e.g. Vietnamese, Chinese (both kinds), etc. Is there a way to get this right?

  • I have been working with our MIS department on addressing our errors on duplicate content and titles caused by parameter URLs. MIS insists that they have solved the problem with canonical tags, which are in place. They said they were getting warnings from Google and Bing, but that after they put the canonical tags in place, those went away. They are questioning the Moz reports, suggesting that I instead rely on SEO Toolit by Microsoft. (As an aside, we are using SharePoint 2010, crossing our fingers for an upgrade to 2013, which presumably will make a lot of the issues we’re having go away). So my questions are: 1)      Why are these Moz reports reporting all of these errors that have supposedly been rectified (in 2011)? Do I disregard the duplicate content/title errors on the Moz report and defer to SEO Toolkit, as MIS suggests?

  • Did anybody else notice this? It started a few weeks ago, every time that I receive an email from Moz regarding a Q&.A update and I try to open it, my Outlook becomes unresponsive and I have to restart it.

  • Hello, If at http://ranktracker.moz.com trying to track phrase KW - the system wont accept it. But adding [EXACT] match with [] - works well. Have I missed something? Cheers.

  • I have been running ranking reports on my pro seomoz account for a couple of years now. I recently added a lot more keywords to my list. Unfortunately there now seems to be a problem. It shows that many of my keywords have dropped out of (and climbed in) the top 50 when they actually haven't. I think it's just missing the keyword out and assuming that it dropped. I'd prefer it said "Not checked". Anyone else with a similar problem? or ideally a solution at my end... Thanks all!

  • I know we can subscribe to Q&A's for updates, but is there any bookmarking type option within the Moz Community Q&A so I can star or favorite my questions in one area? Often I come across really great ideas/solutions in the Q&A, and it would be wonderful to quickly access all of my favorite q's/discussions in one area for later. Thanks mucho.

  • My problem is that in Moz when I check ranking it shows me only on a weekly basis. Acording to MOZ I was on rank 11 yesterday. This is not what my SEO guy has sent me in his report. And usually he is right. Would be nice to have a ranking report for each day. What is the sense of a ranking tool if I don't know what happened between 2 ranking dates? How can I check that? Is there any rank history tool? Or a tool that will check in real time. The way I do it sometimes is to go on google.com/ncr to see the us version of google because I am in Europe. Rank tracker does not work for me at the moment. Get ranking button is inactive. My old keyword list has not been imported from SEOMOZ

  • My company has been trying to increase the number of linking root domains for a specific page on our website using our PR company and press releases that are sent out and linked back to this page. This is working nicely, but the number of linking root domains is still not increasing under the "linking root domains" tab. I am noticing the correct links to this domain under "fresh web mentions" though. I know this tool can take a bit to update, but it has been quite some time and I still only see the one link.

  • Hi, I am just wondering as to the accuracy of this report - does it pick up all the duplicate on page content? Or is there a limit? We have an ecommerce store with a lot of copied and pasted descriptions - just wondering if there is a limit on how much the moz crawler picks up? In other words, once we fix what MOZ has detected, will there be more detected because it is limited to display say up to 200?? Hope you understand what I mean. Thanks

  • Hello, I can't seem to find the crawl tool for other domains that aren't in our campaigns. We've lost it 😞 Thanks, Romeo.
