Solved Moz Link Explorer slow to find external links
-
I have a site with 48 linking domains and 200 total links showing in Google Search Console. These are legit and good quality links.
Since creating a campaign 2 months ago, Moz link explorer for the same site only shows me 2 linking domains and 3 total links.
I realise Moz cannot crawl with the same speed and depth as Google but this is poor performance for a premium product and doesn't remotely reflect the link profile of the domain.
Is there a way to submit a sitemap or list of links to Moz for the purpose of crawling and adding to Link Explorer?

Is there a way to submit a sitemap or list of links to Moz for the purpose of crawling and adding to Link Explorer?Yes, Moz offers a feature called "Link Tracking Lists" that allows users to submit a list of URLs for tracking in Link Explorer. Here's how you can do it:
Log in to your Moz account and navigate to the "Link Explorer" tool.
Click on "Add a New Tracking List" or "Create a New List" (depending on the interface).
Enter a name for your tracking list and add the URLs you want to track. You can enter individual URLs or upload a CSV file containing a list of URLs.
Once you've added the URLs, Moz will begin crawling and tracking those links in Link Explorer.
Keep in mind that while this feature allows you to track specific URLs, it may not guarantee immediate or comprehensive coverage of all links. Moz's crawling capabilities may vary compared to search engines like Google.
By utilizing the Link Tracking Lists feature, you can submit specific URLs or a list of links to Moz for crawling and inclusion in Link Explorer, which can provide additional insights into your site's link profile beyond what is automatically discovered by Moz's regular crawling process.

Even though Moz's tool doesn't search websites as thoroughly or quickly as Google does, the fact that it's not showing all your links is worrying.

Unsolved Why Links Overview is showing '0' "Internal, followed links" when we have many?
Hi, Our site is showing '0' internal links on Links Overview when all other metrics appear to be updating correctly. Any idea why might this be happening? Or are there any issues with the MOZ getting the data from our site when it does a crawl?

Unsolved Inaccurate backlinks being listed in Moz campaign
Moz keeps saying that these websites (amongst others)... https://toolszap.com/
Moz Tools | | JCN-SBWD
https://www.findwallpaperhd.com/
https://onlinecoursesschools.com/
https://www.tonzo.com/ ...are linking to one of my client sites at https://www.scamblermusic.com The websites in question clearly aren't related and aren't linking to the site, and there's no reference to Scambler Music anywhere in the source code. Why does Moz keep listing backlinks that simply don't appear to exist?0 -
Should I disavow these links?
Hi all, I have a ski website that I am currently performing a toxic backlink audit on. I have noted that a lot of the links being flagged as toxic/spammy by the tool I am using seem to be the same/similar sites with different URLs. The sites are vaguely related to skiing (relating to helicopter travel options for travelling to ski resorts) but it is concerning me that there are so many of them and they are being flagged as so toxic.

Do you think it is worth disavowing these? Or contacting the owner to ask them to remove the link? I have included an example of some of the links below. https://www.cannes-helicopters.co.uk/index.php?menuopen=21&showcontent=5
https://nice-helicopter.co.uk/index.php?menuopen=21&showcontent=5
https://monaco-helicopter.co.uk/index.php?menuopen=21&showcontent=5 Slightly different site but same favicon icon:

What steps should I follow after submitting disavow link list?
Hey Moz Team, This is Devesh Srivastava, you can call me Dev.

Recently there was an update from your side and that was pretty good. I have analyzed model factors regarding Moz 2.0. Though my DA score has been down to 36 from 52, I would still say that an update was really necessary. I have some questions which require some clarification or you can say a proper solution.
As of now, I have removed all the Spam links which were coming to my website (https://edugorilla.com) and I have submitted the disavow list to GSC but I would like to know how should I begin my link building strategy keep everything in mind. And now that, I have removed those spam links how would Moz or how should I tell Moz or Google that those have been removed so how soon can I get back to my previous DA score? I am very much confused with the link building strategy now. What steps should I follow after submitting a disavow list and would Moz stats will change after Google Disavowing those links? Can anyone answer my question?1 -
Does Moz allow you to upload your disavow to take into account when analysing links?
I was wondering if moz allows you to upload your disavow file and if it has a consideration in the data supplied? Otherwise how can we accurately use moz to understand the true analytics of our site?

Open Site Explorer Question
Hello Mozers. It has been a while 🙂 OK - I run an open site explorer report, toggle over to 'Linking Domains' because I am more interested in the number of actual websites that link to my client rather than the number of links my client has (and of course what websites are linking) and although I have been doing this for years there is one little thing I am a bit confused about. The report shows (from left to right) the 'Linking Root Domain", the "Domain Authority" for the linking domain and then the 'Number of Linking Root Domains" for each 'Linking Root Domain" My question is (rather stupid, I am sure) is the number of linking root domains for each linking root domain the number of websites linking to them OR the number of websites to which they link?
