Cant figture out why On-Page Grader is not recognizing the heading tag text
-
Hi all,
I'm using the On-Page Grader tool to optimize some of our pages:
One of the suggestions is "Optimal Use of Keywords in Header Tags". They keyword is "Russian Immigration Lawyers in Sacramento" and we do have it in an
tag on the page (located in the right sidebar). The tool doesnt seem to catch that though. Can someone help me please?
Thanks

Im still waiting for a reply from a Moz.com support person please.

Hi, thanks for the reply. The site is not in Javascript. Its clear HTML/CSS and connected to a PHP backend. The above heading* code that is in question is rendered without Javascript.

Hi there,
Sam from Moz's Help Team here!
So, I took a look at your Site Crawl results and your site, and I believe this is a result of our crawler's inability to work with Javascript. Any client side loaded content will not be rendered to our crawler as we are only seeing what is rendered by your server.
Our crawler works by parsing the source code of your site, looking at HTML elements. If your site is primarily Javascript, then the data you get back with regards to the crawl report won't be completely accurate because of this. There's no real workaround that I can recommend for this one, since it is a technical limitation of our tools, but there are some good blog posts and discussions in the Q&A about this if you head over to our Help Hub.
While the tools and data that rely on our crawl of your site may not return the best results because of that Javascript, your keyword rankings and link profile should work just fine.
You might also want to check out a few tools that are compatible with Javascript, like Botify or Screaming Frog.
https://www.onely.com/tools/wwjd/ is also a handy tool that makes it super easy to see where links are added or removed by javascript.I'm really sorry I can't be of more help here; Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with, or if there are any follow-up questions you might have!

Is the Content Suggestions section under Page Optimization a TF-IDF Analysis?
If you start a campaign in Moz, go to page optimization, enter a URL and keyword, and go to the bottom where it says "Content Suggestions" is that basically do a TF-IDF analysis? I want to make sure I understand how that works. Thanks!

How Can I Batch Upload URLs to get PA for many pages?
Howdy folks, I'm using advanced search operators to generate lists of long tail queries related to my niche and I'd like to take the batch of URLs I've gathered and upload them in a batch so I can see what the PA is for each URL. This would help me determine which long tail query is receiving the most love and links and help inform my content strategy moving forward. But I can't seem to find a way to do this. I went to check out the Moz API but it's a little confusing. It says there's a free version, but then it looks like it's actually not free, then I try to use it and it says I've gone over my limit even though I haven't used it yet. Anyone that can help me with this, I'd really appreciate it. If you're familiar with SEMRush, they have a batch analysis tool that works well, but I ideally want to upload these URLs to Moz because it's better for this kind of research. Thanks!

Too Many On-Page Links Notice
When calculating the number of links on a page, are navigation links included in the total? I have all of my navigation links within the <nav>element. I would think that there are a lot of sites out there that easily exceed the 100 link recommendation if you add up nav and footer links. </nav>

How to increase Page Authority
Hi All, I have had some free time lately and have wanted to try and figure out how Moz calculates page authority and what I can do to increase page authority. For instance, I have a real estate site (As some of you may know already) and of course there are places like Zillow.com who have amazing Domain Authority and even page authority for a certain address. So this is just some random address to where most of the local sites I compete with have a PA of 1. Is there a way to get that PA up? Would it be sharing it on Social Media, or writing a blog post about it (which I of course would not want do do with every listing (hundreds) but was curious how Zillow could have such a high page rank on a property that maybe came up a day or two ago. Examples: zillow: http://goo.gl/99A57C my site: http://goo.gl/K6xmW6 Thanks for any guidance!

Can't get on page grader to work properly.
Hi I'm trying to optimize my pages with the on page grader tool but it keeps returning an F grade when I know my page is very well optimized. It is like something is blocking the page crawl but I have double checked my robots.txt and can't think of anything else that is causing a problem. I am trying to do www.hydrohobby.co.uk with the keyword hydroponics for starters but it is the same problem with all other page urls on my site and keywords I try to input. This is a new site made with cscart 4.0. I've graded pages on previous versions of this software with no problems. Can anyone help? Rob

Why my on-page report card won't improve?
For my page www.homedestination.com/Minneapolis-homes-for-sale.html, Moz ranks the page as an "F" for the keyword "Minneapolis home buyers". All data in the report card is from months ago. using the "Grade my On-Page Optimization" button fails to show any updates - even after months. For example the title is actually "Minneapolis Homes For Sale| buying a Minneapolis home | Homebuyers" while Moz says it is ""Minneapolis Homes For Sale | Home Destination | Jenna Thuening" Moz says the description tag is "Realtor Jenna Theuning helping real estate buyers find Minnetonka homes for sale, owner of Home Destination. CDPE also helps with foreclosure and short sales buying." and "Minneapolis homes for sale, and Minneapolis listing, and Minneapolis upscale real estate, and Minneapolis lakeside properties provided by Home Destination"" when it is actually "Minneapolis homes for sale, and Minneapolis listing, Minneapolis home buyers, and Minneapolis lakeside properties provided by Home Destination." Additionally, my weekly ranking reports seems "stuck" and continues to show many "F" ranked keywords that have been updated for some time. Amy advice on how to see improvements?

Duplicate page content
Hi guys the feedback form my campaign suggests I have to much duplicate page content. I’ve had a look at the CSV file but it doesn’t seem to be abundantly clear as to which pages on my site have the duplicate content. Can anyone tell which columns I need to refer to on the sheet, to ascertain this information. Also if the content is only slightly different, will Google still consider it to be duplicate? I look forward to hearing from you
