Location Data Batch Updates via the MOZ API
-
According to the MOZ API documentation, I am able to update multiple Locations in a batch in order to create or update their location data, currently 130 locations. I have successfully created a batch and the API returned the $id, as I expected.
Yet, it doesn't make clear how the multiple locations I want to update are supposed to be sent back to the API. I was expecting an upload of a CSV file or JSON data, and not Query Parameter as noted in the docs.
When including a JSON file, properly formatted, as a binary upload, the response is still expecting a locations parameter. See error here:
{ "status":"MISSING_PARAMETER", "message":"locations missing. ", "response": { "locations":"MISSING_PARAMETER" } }

Are Moz-specific ids available in response sets from V2 calls?
I'm assuming that moz assign a unique internal id to each page, subdomain and root_domain. When making v2/links requests, are these moz-specific ids available? Currently, when gathering backlinks for a client we're generating our own ids. Maintaining uniqueness is costly time-wise. "results": [{

Frequency of Moz page authority updates?
I have some new pages on my site, and Moz gives them a very low PA ranking. I am wondering if these scores are updated monthly or quarterly? I'm not sure how frequently to check back for updated scoring.

Alternatives to Supermetrics to get Moz metrics into Google Sheets?
Hi, Interested in getting Moz API metrics into Google Sheets on an automated scheduled. Supermetrics can do this, but I am curious to know if there are any alternatives, free or paid. Thanks! 🙂

Is Moz's rank checker driving referals (and bounces) in my analytics?
I see 200+ referral visits per month from "rank-checker.online" and they all bounce with one second session durations. Are these bounces hurting my SEO? They are definitely distorting my referral metrics. Can I block them somehow?

In lue of the canceled Moz Index update
Hey Moz, Overall we love your product and are using it daily to help us grow, part of that has been to rely on the Moz Index for DA and PA as well as places where we are doing positive linking through genuine partnerships and reviews of clients. We were really excited to see any the results for this month as we have been partner linked from lots of high reputation sites and google seems to agree as our rankings are moving up weekly. The question from our marketing team is, since a significant part of Moz will not be available to us this month, will there be any compensation handed out to the paying community. PS: I am an engineer and I know how you have probably lost a very large set of data which cant simply be re-crawled over night but Moz Pro is not a cheap product and we do expect it to work. 3 result limit to Top Pages API call
I am using the MOZ API to make calls for the top pages for a particular URL. However, when I pass in any limit value greater than 3 the API only returns 3 results. I have even tried to put in URLs like 'www.moz.com' and still only 3 results. Sample call to the API below: http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/top-pages/www.moz.com?AccessID=member-xxxxxxxxx&Expires=1419020831&Signature=xxxxxxxxx&Cols=2052&Offset=0&Limit=50

Batch URL Error 413
Hello, i am using the free mozscape api to get the domain and page authority of urls. i am batching the url as shown in the sample code however i have over 500 URL i need to check and when running the request i get the following: stdClass Object ( [status] => 413 [error_message] => Too many urls in batch. Batches must be less than or equal to 200 urls. ) When i change it to 200 urls the request works fine, now is there a way to enable me to batch all 500 urls at once? i did read that the beta api is capable of batching urls in one request : http://moz.com/blog/400-higher-throughput-mozscape-api-now-in-beta-and-seeking-testers Has this been implemented yet into the current api? Thanks
